H. E.Mr.Alexey Golovanov, Ambassador of the Russian Federaion, held talks with H.E.Mr.Hassan Omar Mohamed Bourhan, Defense Minister of the Republic of Djibouti to discuss the state and prospects for bilateral military and technical cooperation.

The Minisetr gave an outlook of the politicial situation in Djibouti and on the Horn of Africa, stressing international terrorism and radical extrimism as the biggest threats to national security. The parties exchanged their views on an unstable situation in neighbouring Yemen and Somalia which are facing an increase in refugee numbers

They agreed to maintain close contacts in order to reinforce a bilateral dialogue on issues of mutual interest.
