The procedure for passing sanitary control at entry points on the State border of the Russian Federation

(according to the Decree of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation No. 22 of July 27, 2020)

For the purpose of prompt passage of sanitary and quarantine control:

• A Russian citizen should fill in a questionnaire for those arriving in the Russian Federation “Registration of those arriving in the Russian Federation” in electronic form (https://www.gosuslugi.ru/394604) on the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services (https://www.gosuslugi.ru) before departure to the Russian Federation (while purchasing a ticket, but not later than a check-in).
• A Russian citizen should make a laboratory test on COVID-19 using the PCR method within three calendar days from the date of arrival in the Russian Federation and upload the results of laboratory testing on the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services by filling in the form “Providing information on test results for a new coronavirus infection for those arriving in the territory of the Russian Federation ”(https://www.gosuslugi.rU/400705/l).
• A Russian citizen, in case of deterioration of his health within fourteen calendar days from the date of arrival in the territory of the Russian Federation, should immediately apply for medical assistance at the place of residence (or stay) without visiting medical organizations.
• Foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving in order to perform work are obliged to fulfill the requirements for self-isolation for a period of 14 calendar days from the date of arrival in the territory of the Russian Federation.
• Foreign citizens and stateless persons upon arrival in the territory of the Russian Federation must have a medical certificate in Russian or English confirming negative results of COVID-19 testing made by the PCR method and carried out no later than three days from the date of their arrival in the Russian Federation. If a medical document is available in other foreign languages, a foreign citizen / stateless persons should attach to his medical certificate a written translation notarized by the Consular section of the Embassy of the Russian Federation.
